Bangbang Espresso Bar and Cafe *

First time I visited with J we sat outside on a table along the footpath. Second time around with R & CJ turned out to a completely different experience, being seated inside surrounded by the quirky decor.

Catching up with R & CJ for brunch on a Sunday afternoon is a kodak (or should I say iPhone 5 moment) in itself. We are truly the food paparazzi whenever the three of us get together! Plus I was ever so eager for an opportunity to sample more dishes from Bangbang's extensive menu.

a crispy potato rosti topped with wilted spinach, 2 poached eggs, crispy pancetta & bangbang hollandaise sauce

(potato rosti lived up to the title of extra crispy, 

pancetta became a star presentation 

and to top it off were two perfectly poached eggs!)

tomato, spanish onion, cos lettuce, aioli, BB tomato & chilli relish

 

veggie breakfast

pan fried haloumi, 2 poached eggs, avocado, bangbang baked beans, 

bubble & squeak with roast tomato & sourdough toast

 

Great food and even better company!
